Due to the recent COVID-19 Delta variant outbreak in the Kansas City Metropolitan area effecting labor, we are going to meet virtually for the next two (2) months (August & September).  This will give those who are not yet vaccinated time to be fully vaccinated before we meet in person in October.

Two El Paso Police Department officers were injured in a crash in the Lower Valley on Monday night. Both of the injured officers are two-year veterans of the department. One of the officers had minor injuries and the passenger officer in the car fractured his femur and was admitted to Del Sol Medical Center. KTSM.

Two Officers Injured in Crash

Special Traffic Investigations was called last night to North Loop and Lancaster on a two-vehicle collision involving a marked police vehicle. Investigators learned a full-crew police unit was traveling east at the 9100 block of North Loop Dr., responding to a call for service. 26 –year old Jonathan Herrera was northbound on Lancaster Dr. in a 2005 Dodge Magnum.
